[BANGKOK] - Three favourite spa experiences in town!

One cannot leave Bangkok without enjoying a decent spa! Too many choices can sometimes work against you, I tried out different spas during my five days journey and here are three of my most favourite spas in Bangkok. It is highly recommended to make a booking beforehand as they are really busy and often packed with tourists.

So Thai Spa

Located in a hidden alley, you can either have a 20-minute walk from BTS Phrom Phong station with the help of Google Map or simply take a taxi there. The staff is friendly and cheerful. Once you pick your favourite essential oil, you can start your treatment. I picked "Mok", which is a special flower in Thailand that smells very nice.

Every room has an individual bathroom, so you don't have to worry about privacy. This time, I tried their signature So Thai Luxury Package (฿5,000 / 2 pax). The package includes body scrub, foot massage, full body massage and herbal ball compress massage. All together it lasts around four hours, which is pretty luxurious.

After the massage, there are fruits, snacks and herbal tea. It is quite a good deal!

Address: 269 Sukhumvit soi 31

Urban Retreat

Urban Retreat is the most convenient spa which locates right next to BTS Asok station. It is not surprising to see it packed with visitors. The signature spa package here is Thai Massage with Herbal Balls (฿1,200 / 120 mins). The price and the massage are acceptable, and it's so comfortable that I fell asleep unknowingly during the treatment.

Address: 348/1 Sukhumvit Road

Lavana

Among all three spa centres, this one is my personal as the treatment here makes me most contented. Owned and aimed at Japanese, the service is professional and gratifying. The three-storey building is quite spacious and the decoration is glamourous. The treatment is very effective, I felt like I was reborn!

Address: No.4, Soi Sukhumvit 12

One last tip: There is no fixed rule for tips, but if you are happily treated feel free to give some gratitudes to the staff.

Hope you guys have a great time in Bangkok!
