[HONG KONG] - Enjoy Hong Kong's First Dim Sum Bus Tour

This summer, there is a new and unique dining experience in Hong Kong. The first “bus restaurant” concept is now available in town and will take guests around Hong Kong's top attractions in a comfortable double-decker bus. There are two routes, covering Hong Kong-Kowloon and Kowloon-New Territories. Since I live on the HK Island, I chose the Kowloon-New Territories route for a more intriguing experience. Cruise past a series of spectacular Hong Kong landmarks and learn more about the colourful history of the city from the audio guide, which is available in 5 languages.

The meeting point is right next at The Penninsula Hotel, so it's not hard to find at all.

Fa Yuen Street is best known for its inexpensive and diverse women's wear. You can simply get a crazy shopping haul in just a few hundred Hong Kong dollars!

The bus tour starts from here and goes along the famous Park Lane Shopper's Boulevard, Temple Street and Portland Street. 

Along the journey, you can also see one of the biggest shopping and residential complexes in town - The Olympian City.

For the dining part, we got to try out the local dim sum in style! Once we reached Prince Edward, it's time to sit back comfortably and savour a dim sum sampler plate prepared by a Michelin recommended Cantonese restaurant, including Steamed Shrimp Dumplings, Steamed Siu Mai, Deep fried spring rolls,  Sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaf and Cha Siu bun. There are also mango custard rolls for dessert. The platter looks mouthwatering and This is an unique and memorable bus tour in Hong Kong for both tourists and local citizens.

You get to see the beautiful architectures such as Langham Place, Tsing Ma Bridge, Kap Shui Mun Bridge and Park Island as well. 

Near the end of the trip, the bus will pass through Sunny Bay and Hong Kong Disneyland.

The scenery along the way is absolutely stunning and breathtaking.

After an approximately 2-hour ride, we were back to Tsim Sha Tsui. It is such a pleasure to enjoy a wonderful afternoon in this lovely vehicle and get to appreciate the beauty of our street-scape. It is a new immersion in experiencing Hong Kong.
