[SANYA] - Pullman Oceanview Sanya Bay Resort & Spa: The paradise for ocean lovers

Welcome to Sanya! If you ever plan to visit this paradise for ocean lovers, let me help you find the perfect place to stay. I was fortunate to stay at Pullman Oceanview Sanya Bay Resort & Spa during the first few days of my trip. This 5-star hotel has a range of attractive amenities, one can easily find something interesting to do here.

Alright, now let's join me on a tour where I show you my experience at this property!


The Room

The place I stayed at was the Apartment Deluxe Suite. To make you feel “at home,” the apartment has two bedrooms with specific bathrooms, a spacious living room, a well-equipped kitchen and a private balcony. The interior design is modern and tasteful with a wooden theme. 

While you can take showers inside the bathroom, there is a bath tub on the balcony which you can sit back and indulge in a long hot bath with an 180° ocean view. This is totally something that can pamper both your body and mind. 



Facilities

There are all sorts of recreational activities for everyone, which is very impressive. Video games, children's playground, mini golf, cinema ... as well as a fitness center, swimming pools and a spa centre. 

The games are such great fun, especially the mini golf! 

Outside are a number of swimming pools with different depths. 

While there are a lap pool, Jacuzzi, and a sandy-beach pool, I especially fancy the infinity pool. To enjoy the max of the pool time, guests are welcomed to rent some adorable inflatable pool floats!

The view of the beachfront and the hotel was absolutely stunning. We even caught the magic sunset hour!

The beach is right across the hotel and is also somewhere you don't wanna miss. There are benches on the beach that allow you to lie down and take a good look at the beautiful coastal view. The beach is very clean and since it's private, you won't have stay away from crowds of tourists and enjoy some free beach moments!

Shan Spa

Shan Spa offers a range of face and body treatments to pamper the guests. I decided to go for the Thai-style massage to unwind myself a little bit, and the massage was so good! The therapist is also extremely professional and friendly. 

Restaurants

Sands Western Restaurant

Tick tock, tick tock. It's breakie time!

This restaurant serves all-day meals with an international à la carte menu. In the mornings, I enjoyed a buffet-style breakfast with quite a number of choices including Chinese and Western food. This lovely meal helped me to start off the wonderful day ahead.

The One Chinese Restaurant 

A classical Chinese restaurant serving Cantonese cuisine along with menu. Guests can simply add a small amount to their room rate (inl. breakfast) in exchange for a superb Chinese dim-sum breakfast. Enjoy the delicate hot dishes here with an elegant atmosphere.

Aroma Lobby Lounge

The Lobby Lounge is an amazing place for a drink and viewing the "magic moments" of sunset. You can choose from a selection of international wines, cocktails or aromatic coffee. Besides, afternoon tea set is also served here in the afternoon.

Red Sun Bar

At Red Sun Bar, you will be amazed by the breathtaking ocean and city view. Tailor-made for relaxation, here is a great place to enjoy a glass of wine or cocktail and some delectable canapés with friends or business colleagues during the happy hour!

Summary

The Ocean View Apartment is just around the corner of the lobby yet it has a higher privacy and more silent environment. While you can reach the main complex in walking distance, you can also travel by shuttle cars. The ocean view is extremely breathtaking, it is so blissful to wake up with this as the first thing to see in the morning. I would definitely encourage you to consider staying at this apartment particularly with your family or friends.
