[NEW YORK] - Sofitel NY: Once in a lifetime moment well spent!

As you might know, I chose to have my wedding in the city I love the most - NYC. The reason is somehow unexplainable, I simply have some magical connections with this city. I studied about this city for my postgraduate degree, I spent a lovely summer here for research and I fell in love with it.

Sofitel NY is an ideal place to stay for my big moment in life. The classic and contemporary style offers a kind of modern romance. In a prominent location in the very heart of Manhattan, Sofitel New York blends French Art Deco elegance and luxe with contemporary American spirit. The graphics, colours and dramatic details of the decidedly French interiors transport you to Paris in the 1930s. Such European heritage is reflected throughout the hotel in the stately mahogany furniture and the exceptional works of art that adorn its walls and halls.

The lobby is spacious and upscale, offering an extremely comfortable and silent environment for guests to chill and rest. 

The hotel has a restaurant and bar named Gaby. It is a art deco-inspired restaurant offering a list of contemporary and delicate French cuisines. 

Each Sofitel is a unique blend of the French art de vivre and local refinement. It's lovely to see how this is shown in the details of the interior design. Every morning, guests are welcome to stop by for some complimentary coffee or tea.

                       

The Gaby Bar is a great place to indulge in some enchanting cocktails and tapas. The sophisticated decoration with elements of leather, mirror and marble generates a high-end and exclusive ambiance. 

I'm so thrilled to stay at the Luxury King Room with a view of the most signature building in town - the Empire State Building! It is truly amazing to watch the changing lights of the building while comfortably resting in this beautiful room.

I loved the Sofitel bed, it was almost like sleeping on a cloud. The room was spacious, stylish and quiet as well. 

The room service is attentive and brilliant. I've ordered the French Toast for the morning. The food is still hot when it arrives, which is very impressive. What's better than enjoying this lovely breakfast in bed with a cup of coffee?

The fitness centre at the Sofitel Hotel includes state of the art exercise equipment. You can do all sorts of exercise here so that you don't have to feel guilty for all the great food you had or going to have in this awesome city.

My Big Day

Alright.. so the time has finally come. I'm glad to start my wedding day at this beautiful hotel. Here are some precious images I'd love to share with you guys.
